24th of July Parade and Park

We love the 24th of July at our house. And of course Shaylee was loving every bit of it. The parade, park, races, and bounce houses.. It's extra hot outside so when we were all done with the festivities, we came home to the nice A/C and had naps :) Kind of a must since the cannons went off sooooo dang early!

Anyone who has built a house knows what a headache putting in a yard is.. Our goal was to have our front and side yard done by the 24th of July. Well we got the front DONE! Whoo hoo.. I have to say it's a better feeling then the day you get to move into your new house LOL. Our side yard didn't get done, and might not for a while, but luckily it's hiding behind the fence :) I love the way it turned out and I'm thankful my hunny works sooo hard :)

Trying to Crawl

We can't believe this little boy is already getting into a crawling position, he is also doing push ups all the time. He tries so hard and is basically scooting all over the living room.. I dont think it will be long before we have a crawler!

Shaylee

3 years old!

I think these turned out pretty cute, especially since Shaylee likes to make wierd faces whenever we pull out a camera! Love em.

Rowdy

6 months old!

Carousel

Shaylee rode the carousel 3 times today. Once with grandma and twice with mom. She loved every minute of it! Last year about this time we put her on one fair ride and she screamed the entire time. So I thought she wouldn't like this either but she did great and kept saying " 1 more time" after each ride. We are having a great time in St.George!

Main Street River!

This is a must do in St.George for us! Shaylee loves playing in the river. The best time of year to go is right after school starts, then all the big kids are gone. But we went down today and it was way crowded, of course Shaylee still had a blast and was talking to all the little girls her size. She loves having little friends! Rowdy sat content in his carseat in the shade watching all the kids running around!

Back Yard Fun at Grandma's

It's the simple things in life that make me happy, like GRASS. Somedays I tell myself how much I miss our first house and wish I could go back. I know some are thinking I'm crazy right now, but Shaylee is at the age where she loves to run around and play and that backyard full of grass would of been perfect for her. And it will be YEARS before we get a backyard done at the new house!

Anyway so while we have been in St.George I make sure to go outside every evening and just let her play for hours at a time! She loves it. They have grass for running, cement for chalk, dirt for digging, hills for climbing. She is in heaven!

Look who's 6 months old!!

Wow, I can't believe he's 6 months old today!! Crazy how time flies.

At 6 months he: Rolls all over the room, drinks 6 oz, has had 2 haircuts, laughs, plays with toes, has no teeth, chews on everything, still takes a binkie, sleeps the entire night with out waking up, sleeps just small cat naps during the day, loves Shaylee, gets bored easily. We love this little guy!

First Food with a Spoon!

Today, Rowdy ate for the first time with a spoon. Sweet Potatoes!! He actually did really well and seemed to like it. He's been eating rice cereal in a bottle since about 5 weeks old, but this is his first veggie. He will be 6 months old tomorrow!! Crazy how time flies.
