Bye Crib, Hello Big Girl Bed

It's official Shaylee is out of her crib and into a BIG GIRL bed! SAD! She is doing sooo good! She goes to bed around 9 (then she usually come out one time, so we put her straight back to bed) then she sleeps the entire night until about 7:30. She also takes about a 2 hour nap during the day around noon. I was sad to take her crib down, but I love this new bedding that she got for Christmas!

Shaylee is officially 21 months old! Somethings to remember about her:

*She is talking really well.

*She is starting to learn her colors and remember which is which.

*She says names and remembers who is who.

*She is a horrible eater, this girl survives on Milk!

*She has had 2 sets of tubes in her ears.

*She is a daddy's girl, as soon as dad is home from work she is with him the rest of the evening, no matter where he goes!

*She love's her "Mean Grandma"(sometimes better then Mom)

* She love's all animals. Horses, cats, dogs, goats, the lion on the wall and every other animal!

Christmas Day at the Luce's

This year we spent Christmas Day with my side of the Family, We went to Grandma and Grandpa Luce's house! Julee, Scott, Brad and Stephanie and all their families were there! We had a yummy dinner and lots of fun!

Christmas Morning

Santa made a visit to our house! He brought Shaylee a Kitchen with food, and a bounce castle! She was soooo excited when she seen them both! Then not to mention a dozen presents under the tree from us! She was a little slow at opening them, but she loved everything especially all the Dora stuff and new babies! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve with The Gleave's!

On Christmas Eve we headed over to Monroe for the evening. We had a great time, and yummy potatoe soup and bread bowls! Shaylee of course got SPOILED! To many cute things, the little cowgirl PJ's are adorable. Thanks for all the great stuff!

Santa

Well she definitly didn't like Santa this year! We talked about sitting on "ho ho's" lap the whole way to the mall but then once we actually got there she was not a happy camper!

Christmas Tree

Today, like tradition we went out and found our Christmas tree. I had a hard time finding one that I liked because to many tree's were dead looking because of the beetle bug. But I did eventually find one that I thought would do.. And it turned out to be a good one. I can't ever have a full big tree because my house is just to small. Shaylee helped me put the "balls" on the tree. She had a blast decorating for Christmas today, she picked up Mrs. Clause and refused to put her down or give her to me. So she chose where Mrs. Clause went and it's no where near Santa haha. We love Christmas time! And we are really excited, because Shaylee will be alot of fun this year opening presents!

Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had a great day. We headed over to Monroe for the Gleave family Thanksgiving. Great food, and lots of family, what could be better? Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Blue

As most of you know my husband hunts bears and lions with hound dogs. It's hard not to get attached to these little guys. Blue was about 6 months old and showing lots of potential to be a great hunting dog, but today sadly he was ran over, and did not make it. They become like your own children, when they make the race to the tree, it makes you proud and when they don't it makes you sad. We are sorry to have lost a dog with such potential.

The Big 25

Yesterday Chase turned the BIG 25. My husband is getting OLD! ha. We had a great day. In the morning we met Chase family for breakfast down here in St.George. Then we went and watched Austin at the rodeo. After that we got Cafe Rio (Yum!). Then the best part of the day, we went to see New Moon. It was AWESOME!. Then of course dinner with friends at Texas Roadhouse was great too! Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband! He really is the Best husband and father and I don't know what I would do with out him. He takes such good care of us! Love you babe.

We get bored easily in the winter time at our house, so lastnight we decided to drag the matress into the living room and let her jump and play.. She played hard for over a hour and a half. She jumped from the couch, to the matress, to the floor. Laughing and yelling "Fun!" and "Jump!" the whole time. We completely wore her out.

Happy Birthday!

I must say that my brother is getting OLD, today he turned the big 26! Haha I texted him and said Happy Birthday Old Fart.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year! Shaylee was getting the hang of things pretty fast, she wouldn't say trick or treat, but she was sure to say "Thank You" to everyone. We met up with lots of friends and my mom and dad were here too! First we went to the Heritage Auto Trunk or Treat, then to the ward Trunk or Treat! Then of course we stopped by Cherie's for some yummy carmel popcorn! Shaylee didn't really know what to think of her little friends with their painted faces. She was the cutest little ladybug around!
