The Birthday Party

Last night we had Shaylee's "Dora" party at my mom's house. She got spoiled rotten, the dog that spits out the bubbles was a big hit. She loved it. I asked her after, if she had a good party, and she yelled "YES!! GOOD BIRTHDAY!" Haha! 2 years went by too fast, it makes you sad.. Thanks everyone who came.

Birthday Girl

Well Shaylee offically turned 2 yesterday! And although we aren't having a birthday party for her until tonight we decided we better let her open some presents and then we took her to Jumpin Jacks. She was in heavin, she absolutly LOVED it! We paid to have Chase play with her and I think he loved it as much as she did, I think next time I will play also it looked like fun.. Anyway she had a great 2nd birthday.. Bring on the Cake and Icecream tonight!

Snow Canyon Park

On Thursday we headed down from Beaver, to meet up with my cousins and aunt from New Mexico.. We took the kids to Snow Canyon State Park.. It was fun, Shaylee had a blast playing with Karli and Kaden. She loved the sitting in the sand a playing.. but she didn't like walking bare foot in it. Haha she's to funny.

Warm Weather

Anyone who knows me knows that I HATE cold and snow. Well Me and Shay have been in St.George for almost a week now and I'm loving the t-shirt weather. And Shaylee is having a great time running around outside.. I feel bad for her in the winter time cuz I hate going out in the bad weather. Anyway we are getting really excited for SUMMER! Camping, bbq's, and swimming.. Oh can't you just wait?

Hair N Snow

Today I cut Shaylee's hair and gave her some bangs! I have had the hardest time knowing what to do with her hair, She's grown a couple major mulletts. And if you look under her bangs you can see like a line of new hair or just her hairline I guess I don't really know what it is... Anyway needless to say we tried bangs today. I think they turned out cute! I showed her in the mirror when we were done and she said " I love it! Bangs." Haha she makes me laugh everyday!

The last picture is one out the door in our carport showing all the snow! If you look on the hood of Chase's truck there is at least 10 inches out there! There was no snow yesterday on our grass! And now we are covered in it again! SAD just when I think it's getting warm, this happens :(

Spaghetti!

This is about the only food that she will actually eat! Eating is a chore at our house, she is sooo picky and never wants to eat anything. She is constantly asking for warm milk all day and when I tell her it's time to eat food, she says "NOOOO!" I'm glad we finally found something she likes!

Chicks!

Since we have been home from Cedar she is OBSESSED with these chicks! We told her she can only touch them but not pick them up so all she does is softly pet them. It's cute! She named them Dora (the gold one), Boots (the yellow one) and Spots (the brown one).. And she is smart enough to point out who is who when you ask her!

Trip to Cedar

Today we met my parents in Cedar for lunch. We had to head down for grocery shopping. Of course whats a trip to Cedar with out visiting Cal Ranch?

I guess it's that time of year again for baby chicks.. Last year we had 2 baby chicks. Raised them up and put them outside. One of the chickens was killed by the neighbors dog. And the other chicken has been laying a egg a day until just last week, I haven't seen her since :( So I agreed to getting more chickens. They are nice to have around in the summer they keep the bugs under control and then also the one egg a day was plenty enough for our little family. So hopefully they will grow up and get to that point again.

Shaylee is obsessed with them.. She sings "twinkle little star" to them all the time and she always wants to "hold it."
Anyway after a yummy dinner at sizzler, 160$ on groceries, and 3 baby chicks we are home from our little trip to Cedar! If only Beaver had a wal-mart. I would never leave this town! Haha
