New Years Eve

This year for New Year's we went out to dinner with some friends to MJ's. Robbie and Collette, Colt and Allie, Dallan and Crystal. And all the little ones too, Shaylee loved eating and playing with the kids.
This year, I'm kind of a party pooper being this pregnant LOL it's 10:30 and I'm ready for bed :)

Christmas Day

At noon, when all the excitement started to wear off, we headed over to Monroe for more presents and fun with the Gleave family... She got spoiled once again. And so did I because I got a new vaccum :) I was pretty happy to get one! Then at about 2 there was a big family party at aunt Tamera's house. Violet got Shaylee this adorable princess dress up. Shaylee loves it. She makes me dress her up once a day, then she pretends she's Rose going to touch the spindle. (Sleeping beauty LOL) She has such a imagination. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Morning

Shaylee woke up Christmas morning in her new house. (it was her first night) And to her surprise SANTA came! He brought the bouncing horse and Alphie (robot). The only 2 things she asked for everytime she sat on his lap.. And he also brought her a new coat, cowgirl boots, a baby, Spirit, and a cow pillow pet. She was so excited, more for the fact that since Santa came that meant Rudolph did too. This year she has had a slight obsession with Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, also asking Santa everytime she sat on his lap "Where is Rudolph?" Santa of course cleverly would respond with "He's at the North Pole." She was a lot of fun this year for Christmas, it was the first year she understood and was excited for it.

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve, we spent the day in St.George. Shaylee had a ton of fun. We made and iced sugar cookies and then of course she loved opening all the presents my family got for her... Then that evening we headed over the the Luce's for more presents and of course the tradition of deli sandwitches and lots of dips to choose from... That night at about 9 we headed back to Beaver so Santa could come for a visit. It was Shaylee's first night in the new house too! She had been in St.George for 2 days while Chase and I had moved most of our stuff into the house.

Christmas Tree's

Being 8 months pregnant and possibly moving in just a couple weeks. I was set on NO Christmas decorations until we move. BUT I began to feel a little like a GRINCH, so I broke down and decorated LOL. Anyway on Saturday Shaylee went with Chase's family and cut us down a tree. Later that night she decorated a gingerbread house that her Grandma Karen gave her. She LOVED doing that and it kept her busy for some time. Then we got out the pink tree to decorate for her room. So now we are all in the Christmas cheer. She is soooo excited for Santa this year, She has seen him twice now. She loves "Reindeer red nose" as she calls him, and going to look for "pretties" at night :)

Santa

Shaylee loved Santa this year! So different from the screaming, terrified little girl I put on his lap last year. She was soooo cute and told him all the toys she wanted. Alphie the robot and a bouncing horse. Santa told her to be a good little girl and to go to bed on Christmas Eve so he can come visit. She had a smile on her face the rest of the day, she is too cute.

Decorating Grandma's Tree

Today we decorated Grandma's Christmas tree, Shaylee had a blast. I figured I better let her help do Grandma's since we wont get a tree until we get moved in to the house, which is suppose to be done around December 14th. Shaylee is getting super excited for Christmas. Everytime she sees a new toy she wants she says "I will have to tell Santa about it." LOL she has a huge list this year and is sooo excited for new toys.

Thanksgiving 2010

For Thanksgiving this year we spent it at Grandpa and Grandma Luce's house with my family. We ate a yummy meal, that tuckered Shaylee right out. She had a 2 hour nap, and woke up just in time for pie! Of course we sang to Chase for his 26th birthday, which was on the 20th (me and him celebrated by painting and more painting of our house, what a boring b-day). We had a great day, and have so much to be thankful for! Happy Thanksgiving!

28 weeks

I need to be better at taking belly pictures, but I tend to hide from the camera when I'm pregnant.. I'm finally 28 weeks, which I think means the third trimester :) We are getting there slowly but surley.

Pregnancy this far:

* Took progesterone for 4 months

* Throwing up at least 25 times a day if I didn't take my Zofran

*Zofran makes me sick in other ways, so I tend to skip my doses until I'm puking so bad I'm forced to take it.

* Stopped throwing up and taking all medications by 16 weeks. Thank goodness!

* Still have nausea here and there and will throw up randomly but nothing to bad.

* It's a BOY!

*Don't really have wierd cravings, just want to eat at places that Beaver doesn't have. Like Olive Garden, Durangos, taco bell, KFC...

* Heartburn at night like crazy.

All in all the pregnancy has been really easy (once I passed 4 months) and a easier pregnancy then when I was pregnant with Shaylee. We are getting so excited to meet our little baby boy!

Due Date January 20, 2011

Halloween

Well our little lion survived the trunk or treat, She wasn't feeling the greatest.. But I know she was having a good time seeing all the costumes. She ended up throwing up a little later that evening, so we called it a night early and put on our jammies and watch some halloween movies (Scooby-doo, and hocus pocus) She loved both the movies. My parents came up for the day and to watch Shaylee trick or treat, She of course was sooo excited to see them. And today Chases family rode over and brought her a trick or treat :) It was a great Halloween minus the sick little girl!

Pumpkin Dayz

Well it's Grandpa Ron's annual Pumpkin Days and we are at home with a sick little girl who is missing out on all the fun. I was so excited this year for it because she is at the age where she loves to do that kind of stuff and to play with all the little cousins. It all started lastnight, we were painting more little pumkins and Shaylee kept saying she had a belly ache, So we kept putting her on the potty thinking she would poop then be fine, well after about a hour of that she finally threw up. Then it was on! She threw up like every hour for the rest of the night, so we are pretty tired parents around here. She got up this morning and has done alot better today. But she does have a fever so we decided to skip the pumpkin carving in Monroe :( We are definatly going to have to round up a pumpkin or 2 that we can carve with her tonight. AND hopefully she is all better by tomorrow so she can do the trunk-or-treat! She has been sooo excited to be a LION this year...Hope everyone has a great Halloween!

3x3 28 inches

Well I told Chase, "No Bambi!" Haha BUT I think that's what he brought home, it's been 5 years since he got a buck so I knew he had the itch. And of course Shaylee thought it was pretty cool that her daddy got a deer. So I guess we will fill our freezer up with some deer meat that Chase can cook when I'm out of town :)

Deer Hunt 2010

Well I know the deer hunt isn't really over yet, Chase is still planning on going tomorrow on his horse. Which means it's pretty much over for Me and Shaylee. We enjoy going with Chase and looking for a trophy. But of course we didn't see a dang thing. We saw 3 deer far away, and they were running and so we couldn't tell what they were (probably just doe's). Anyway we got pretty muddy in the ol' mazda, with me being pregnant I wasn't getting out and hiking! It was a fun day spent together and thats all that matters.

Painting Pumpkins

While the hubby is away, the girls will play! Chase is gone deer hunting so we decided to paint pumpkins and just have a nice relaxing Saturday doing a whole lot of NOTHING! It doesn't help that its a rainy yucky day too..It's been nice, watching movies, drinking hot chocolate and just hanging out together. As you can see we painted these pumpkins in our P.J.'s, and we might just stay like this all day!

I wanna go home

Lastnight I was looking through the pictures on my computer, and this picture brought a tear to my eye. It has been a while since we sold our house, and poor Shaylee hasn't done well. She tells me all the time she wants to go home, and when I tell her we are home. She gets sad and says No! Not this house, the white house. She hasn't slept well since we moved, and when I tell her we are building a new house it makes her a little bit happy but then she says I want my old house. It's really sad, because she doesn't understand. As for a update on our new house, the basement is being poured and is almost done, Then I guess they are on to framing, hopefully in the next week or 2. I hope it goes up fast!

While in St.George Shaylee discovered that she loved the little river, and of course putting curlers in her hair whenever grandma was using them.
