Christmas Tree Decorating

I don't know why my picture qualitly isn't the greatest. But anyway, We decorated our Christmas tree last night after we got home from cutting it. Shaylee was sooooo excited. She could barely hold still. She was hugging everyone saying "Merry Christmas"! She has got to be at the best age for Christmas this year. She is sooo excited to see Santa and tell him what she wants. Last week we told her about the elfs that hide on the shelfs in our house. And so when ever she gets acting up, I remind her that the elfs are watching and it straightens her right up! LOL

Christmas Tree Cutting

The day after Thanksgiving, is when we go find our tree every year. This year we met Chase's mom, dad, and sister over clear creek in search of the "perfect tree" as Shaylee kept saying. My tree was easy to find. I spotted it from the road and said, " I want that one." And 2 seconds later it was down.

The other 2 tree's weren't so easy to find. So me and the kids sat in the truck with Markell, it was freezing cold!!

Thanksgiving 2011

We had Thanksgiving with the Gleave's this year. It was alot of fun, and my mom was able to come up with us. Jeremie and my dad were both gone.
Shaylee was loving playing with all the cousins..We ate dinner at 1, then the kids went out and raced, then we talked for a little while, then of course PIE!! It was a fun time and was Rowdy's 1st Thanksgiving! He was a good boy all day too.

Laundry Basket Fun

I'm loving that these 2 are at the age where they like to play with eachother. On this day, they were playing with the laundry basket and getting such a kick out of it!

Shaylee loves her baby brother and is very protective of him. He loves her too, it's so cute. She will shut him out of her room and he sits at her door and cries for her to open it and let him in!

Happy Birthday!

When I met Chase he was 17 years old. It seems like that was yesterday! Now he is 27! Only 3 years away from 30... AHHH!! Just kidding. Happy Birthday dear. We had a great time for his birthday, we headed to St.George and dropped off the kids with the grandparents. Then we headed down to Mesquite for the night with Jenn and Josey.. It was a nice little get away, just what we needed before the holidays. Happy Birthday!!

Sick

I took Shaylee to the doctor last Thursday, because she had a hacking cough. He said her oxygen level was pretty low. So he decided she needed to have breathing treatments. She's done really well with it and seems to be feeling better each day!

10 Months Old

Rowdy is officially ten months old. He is growing up way to fast! The last month was a big one for him, he has became so much more mobile. And is getting into everything. I guess the saying 'boys will be boys' is true! He is now saying Mama (finally) along with alot of other gibber. The 2 other major things he learned this past month was to wave bye, and hold his own bottle (yay, both of my kids were late bottle holders. And life gets so much easier when you can just make a bottle and hand it to them) Loving that!

He still loves his sister very much and is bored when she isn't around to play with him.

He has to have scout (a green singing dog) and a binki to go to sleep.

He loves to bang on everything, gets a toy in his hand and bangs it on anything he can find.

He give the best kisses, only they are on his terms. Can't force kisses out of this guy.

He will give hugs once in a while.

He loves to pull hair and it hurts. He get me and Shaylee all the time.

He loves baths, but hates getting dressed.

He still eats 2 to 3 jars of baby food and 2 to 3 rice bowls and 2 rice bottles, and lots of regular bottles in a day.

He loves his camo minki blanket.

He hates getting put in his carseat.

He loves to pull all my decorations off the entertainment center and play with them. He rarely will play with toys.

Love this little guy to pieces!

Little Stinker

Turn your back for 2 seconds and this is what happens.....
Luckily the mess is in grandma's bathroom :) I've learned to shut all doors, I'm in trouble with this little guy!

Ears Pierced!

Today Shaylee decided she wanted her ears pierced! She was sooooo excited. I was hoping there was going to be 2 workers able to do both ears, but of course that couldn't happen... The pictures make me bust out laughing.. She starts out soooo excited, then even more excited, then kind of nervous, then (after the first ear) Completely mortified! At that point I had to stop taking pictures and hold her down so we could get the 2nd ear done... Then the final picture. Happy and over it and excited for her grandma to buy her smiley faced earings.

Chase always makes fun of my brother for playing nintendo all day in his underwear! LOL it is kind of lame (Jer)! So today I stripped Rowdy down to the diaper and put all the games around him and sent a picture to Chase saying " I love playing nintendo all day in my diaper"..... He didn't find it very funny.
