Building Lots

Oh building lots, building lots! LOL We have had a heck of a time trying to find another building lot. We let our contract on the other lot go because the 7 little liens we thought he had ended up being about 250,000$ worth of liens. Holy cow! LOL it could only happen to us. Anyway after a ton of verbal offers all week on any and all building lots available in Beaver, we finally got a contract on one, the cheapest one we could find which just so happens to still be in Porters one street away from our first lot. It's a little smaller and of course a little more money and I still think we would both love to have the other one but it's just not realistically going to happen. Now lets hope everything else can go smoothly, I feel like we are jinxed when it comes to building a house.

SO MAD!!

So we got everything ready to break ground on our house for monday.... Went to close on the lot today and what do you know the guy has 7 liens against the property! HELLO shouldn't you take care of that before you put your lot up for sale! I am just a little pissed. Who knows how long that just set us back. Anyway so there is my vent for the day haha.

Monroe Mountain

Of course I didn't take very many pictures, but we headed to the Monroe Mountain for the weekend. Jenn and Josey were nice enough to invite us to stay with them at there cabin. Shaylee loved playing with Violet. It was nice to get up on the mountain and relax, but we kinda had a rough night. Violet wasn't feeling well so they left at about 1 A.M. took her home. Then I was up at 2 A.M. throwing up (what fun it is to be pregnant).. Other then that we had a great time, and Chase has been dying to get over to the monroe mountain all summer long, so he was in heaven.

Pongo

Meet Shaylee's new kitten Pongo! I know we seriously have to many pets, but cats are easy as long as you fix them and feed them they are pretty much maintence free! He is NOT allowed in the house because mom is allergic. But this kitten has kept her entertained for hours and hours, it's been so nice!

Mountain Ride

Today Chase got off work around noon, so we went to Ernies got some Chicken and we were off! Shaylee slept through the first half of the ride, then woke up to help look for the deer, elk, and Zebras (don't know where she came up with that.) We stopped at a little pond type thing where a whole bunch of fish live and she loved seeing all of them until her dad caught one with his hands and tried to get her to pet its head. LOL, then she wasn't to happy! She had fun and then of course fell back to sleep by the end of the ride! It took us a good couple of hours.

Summer In St.George

We spent about 4 weeks in St.George for the summer, Chase was working on a project down there. I've pretty much had a crappy summer due to the nausea and throwing up.. So it was nice to have a little help with Shaylee for the bad months.

One of Shaylee's favorite things to do every evening was to go outside and swim with Pepper! Since its so HOT down there the dogs need a pool too. Pepper loved having Shaylee swim with her, everytime she got out of the pool the dog would get out and wait for her to come back in!

My mom also thought it would be good to break out all my old Barbies! And Shaylee loved them. They made a huge mess though as you can see, so we will just leave that toy at Grandma's house :)

So yeah, as I said it was 4 weeks in St.George, and then Chase was sent to Cedar to work and they told him he could commute with a State truck either from St.George to Cedar or from Beaver to Cedar! SO of course we decided to go HOME! We are now renting a little duplex in town right by our old house.. We have been getting stuff ready to build a home! We are hopefully only a week or 2 away from breaking ground! It is quite the process, getting everything together.. I litterally picked all my stucco, rock, cabinets, paint, carpet, tile and everything else that goes into a house in a matter of 2 hours!! And trust me I have lost sleep over this, second guessing all my color choices and what not. But it's all been wrote down into a contract and it's comforting knowing that what I pick is what I get! So hopefully soon I will be able to post pictures of the house (if all goes well.) Keep your fingers crossed for us.
