4 Months Old

I can't believe how fast 4 months has gone by. Rowdy is such a happy and good baby. I can lay him on the floor and he will just 'talk' like crazy. He will smile at me from across the room. He is to cute. A few facts about four months: Eats 4-6 ounces, 2 large rice bottles a day, wears size 3 diapers, 6-9 month old clothes, tries to roll over alot but has only done it 2 times, laughs once in a while, likes to rub his face with a burp rag when falling asleep, loves watching Shaylee play, sleeps in his crib in bedroom, sleeps entire night and rarely wakes up before 7, loves his daddy. Love you buddy!

We are so glad summer time is finally on it's way! Shaylee loved going to the pool with Danzee the other day.

Fence

I decided that building a house is the easy part, then along comes the yard... Why didn't someone remind me of this before I built? Ha Ha Anyway Chase has been working hard on our Fence and got it done! It's sooo nice to have it up. Now we just have to bring in dirt and back fill it haha.

Anyway Thanks to my wonderful husband for working so hard, and my uncle who did all the ordering and delivering and also helped with putting it up too!

My Babies

Me attempting to get a good picture of the 2 kids together. They are so cute and fun. Rowdy loves watching Shaylee all day long, she keeps him so entertained. Maybe that's why he seems like such a easy baby, he hardly fusses and when he does Shaylee talks to him and makes him happy again.

She is such a big helper lately, She has been setting the table ever night for dinner (and she does a really good job for a 3 year old), She gives brother his binki and wipes his mouth when he spits up, She has started to learn that she has to pick up her toys when she is done playing. I just got her signed up for preschool in the fall, I'm a little sad that she is getting to be such a big girl!

Easter

Shaylee was feeling a little girly the other day (which isn't often). Next thing I know her brother had a bow on his head. LOL Chase was not happy when I showed him these pictures. But anyway she dressed her brother up like a girl.

This is what he thought of the bow, he ripped it of his head, and was chewing on it.

Then a little later in the day she decided to get into my lipstick! She isn't the best aim. It's everywhere.

I have nothing to blog about beside that my kids are growing like weeds, and I take lots of pictures so I thought I would put some on here. We are glad it's April and spring is here, we are loving the few warm days we've had.

Shaylee is loving her new princess kitchen, I have it in the living room by my kitchen and she follows what Im doing in the real kitchen, she makes me tell her exactly what im doing "Ok add the flour now." and she does it too. "Now stir". haha Chase is probably sick of hearing exactly what Im doing, but she loves it. She is loving her new jeep and has learned quickly how to drive it well.

Rowdy is getting big, he's about 14 pounds now, and eats lots. He is smiling and 'talking'. He loves to lay on the floor and study his hands. And he loves to sit on mom's lap on the couch and watch his sister dance, and run around the living room. He smiles at her all the time.

Chase has been working hard on our fence. It's looking good, getting the back done then on to the sides. It keeps him busy, he went to work today at 7 A.M. and didnt come in the house until 9 P.M. He got right to work on it when he got home from work today. It will be so nice when its done to just let Shaylee (and the dog) out and not have to worry about them running off.

There hasn't been much going on with me, just taking care of babies all day. I love being able to stay at home with our kids and watch them grow. Sure it would be nice to have the extra money if I had a job, but it's just not worth it to me.
