Back Yard Fun at Grandma's

It's the simple things in life that make me happy, like GRASS. Somedays I tell myself how much I miss our first house and wish I could go back. I know some are thinking I'm crazy right now, but Shaylee is at the age where she loves to run around and play and that backyard full of grass would of been perfect for her. And it will be YEARS before we get a backyard done at the new house!

Anyway so while we have been in St.George I make sure to go outside every evening and just let her play for hours at a time! She loves it. They have grass for running, cement for chalk, dirt for digging, hills for climbing. She is in heaven!

Look who's 6 months old!!

Wow, I can't believe he's 6 months old today!! Crazy how time flies.

At 6 months he: Rolls all over the room, drinks 6 oz, has had 2 haircuts, laughs, plays with toes, has no teeth, chews on everything, still takes a binkie, sleeps the entire night with out waking up, sleeps just small cat naps during the day, loves Shaylee, gets bored easily. We love this little guy!

First Food with a Spoon!

Today, Rowdy ate for the first time with a spoon. Sweet Potatoes!! He actually did really well and seemed to like it. He's been eating rice cereal in a bottle since about 5 weeks old, but this is his first veggie. He will be 6 months old tomorrow!! Crazy how time flies.

Painting In St.George

Yesterday I brought both kids with me down to St.George. We left Chase home to work on the sprinkler system (he says it's coming along good)... Anyway we are hoping to have some fun while we are down here. Shaylee has been painting up a storm. She loves it! And of course Rowdy is just hanging out with his mom lots! I'm hoping to take the kids to the main street river, spash pad and park, and of course we always have to get some shopping in while we are here.

Ouch!

So today Shaylee and Chase were outside workin on the yard, Rowdy was sound asleep, so I took the time, hurried and mopped the tile that goes down the hall, and into the bathroom. Well while it was drying I went outside and Chase needed help hanging a gate on our fence. So I helped him and told Shaylee not to go in the house. Of course she didn't listen to me and went running in the house and down the hall. She ate it! Face right on the tile. Poor thing. I was ready to take her to the E.R.. But of course I was being a bit dramatic.

After the fall, she of course got spoiled to make her feel better. Blanket, pillow, and 'Tangled'. And of course lots of popsicles. We felt horrible!

4th of July

When we got home from camping that afternoon, we all got cleaned up and headed to Greenville for the fireworks! We went a little bit early (LOL) they didnt go off until about 10 and we were there at like 8:45. Oh well, Shaylee was having fun playing. Rowdy slept through most of it, He was awake for a little bit though.

Annual Higgins Camp Out

Over the 4th of July weekend was our annual Higgins camp out, on the Beaver mountain! It was a blast and Shaylee was loving every minute of it. She didn't want to come home yesterday. She found a worm ( "Wormy" was it's name) and She made it a little house on the bottom of Rowdy's bouncer. Rowdy did really well too for his first camp trip, although we did go home every night at about 10:30 with him. Shaylee stayed up there one night with Grandma and papa. Of course Chase is dying with out a camp trailer. But I think I will be just fine in a tent! He will be off for 7 days on thursday and I think we will try and go stay a night or 2 with just us and the kids!
