Painting In St.George

Yesterday I brought both kids with me down to St.George. We left Chase home to work on the sprinkler system (he says it's coming along good)... Anyway we are hoping to have some fun while we are down here. Shaylee has been painting up a storm. She loves it! And of course Rowdy is just hanging out with his mom lots! I'm hoping to take the kids to the main street river, spash pad and park, and of course we always have to get some shopping in while we are here.

Ouch!

So today Shaylee and Chase were outside workin on the yard, Rowdy was sound asleep, so I took the time, hurried and mopped the tile that goes down the hall, and into the bathroom. Well while it was drying I went outside and Chase needed help hanging a gate on our fence. So I helped him and told Shaylee not to go in the house. Of course she didn't listen to me and went running in the house and down the hall. She ate it! Face right on the tile. Poor thing. I was ready to take her to the E.R.. But of course I was being a bit dramatic.

After the fall, she of course got spoiled to make her feel better. Blanket, pillow, and 'Tangled'. And of course lots of popsicles. We felt horrible!

4th of July

When we got home from camping that afternoon, we all got cleaned up and headed to Greenville for the fireworks! We went a little bit early (LOL) they didnt go off until about 10 and we were there at like 8:45. Oh well, Shaylee was having fun playing. Rowdy slept through most of it, He was awake for a little bit though.

Annual Higgins Camp Out

Over the 4th of July weekend was our annual Higgins camp out, on the Beaver mountain! It was a blast and Shaylee was loving every minute of it. She didn't want to come home yesterday. She found a worm ( "Wormy" was it's name) and She made it a little house on the bottom of Rowdy's bouncer. Rowdy did really well too for his first camp trip, although we did go home every night at about 10:30 with him. Shaylee stayed up there one night with Grandma and papa. Of course Chase is dying with out a camp trailer. But I think I will be just fine in a tent! He will be off for 7 days on thursday and I think we will try and go stay a night or 2 with just us and the kids!

Swimming Lessons

I know Shaylee is only 3 years old, but I thought it would be a good idea to put her in swim lessons. Knowing she wouldn't learn to swim in one week, I just thought it would help her to get comfortable in the water and help her to learn to hold her breath. She is doing good, she is a little uncomfortable in the water but she is getting better each day. The class is fun, her little friends Danzee, Jex and Kade are there, so that helps out alot! I'm hoping to just put her in lessons every year until she learns how to swim. (that may take 15 years at this rate LOL) But it's fun anyways!

June 24th

Wow, I can't believe we have been married 6 years. It seems like our wedding day was yeserday. Anyways, we came to St.George and dropped the kids off with my parents, then we were off for the night to Mesquite. It was just the get-a-way we needed. It was so nice to even just go to walmart by ourselfs (haha) Its the little things that make me happy. That night we went and had prime rib and crab legs (yum!) and then we played a little on the slot machines, then we went to a movie... It was a great little anniversary date night! Love you Chase and happy 6 years :)

Feeding Peacocks

In Beaver there isn't much to do, So I guess thats what we do to entertain our kids LOL
