Cabela's

What's a trip up north without stopping at Cabela's?? Shaylee loved all the animals and fish.. We spent about a hour there just looking at all the fun stuff. I told Chase to leave his wallet in the car, cuz he wasn't getting anything. Haha.

Our trip up north was really fun, although about 6 of us ended up sick. (including my dad and me.) That kind of made it a long trip home. But it's good to be home. I went to bed really early lastnight and I am starting to feel better today.

Riverton with Family

Our cousins from Arkansas made a trip to Utah, so we rode up to stay at my aunt and uncle's house in Riverton to visit with everyone. We had a yummy BBQ. Steak, dutchoven potatoes, corn on the cob, and the best part Julee's SALAD!! Oh and to top it off homeade butterfinger icecream. It's been good seeing cousins that I never see!

July Photos

My brother's girlfriend Austin is getting into photography, so I had her take some "July" pictures of Shaylee. They turned out really cute. I love how clear her camera is. I'm going to blow up a couple of them for her scrapbook! Thanks Austin they turned out cute.

24th of July Parade and Park

This morning we headed over to Monroe for the Celebration, Shaylee loved the parade... After the parade we went to the park for yummy navajo tacos. We put Shaylee in the foot races which she was NOT having. She ran half way to her dad, made a big circle, then dropped to the ground crying.It was quit the scene. Then we put her in the bouncy house and I was a little nervous that she was going to get hurt by some of the bigger kids, but she did good and cried when we made her get out. It was a fun day in Monroe, but now we are back to Beaver and going to go to the rodeo tonight.

Finger Painting

This morning we decided to finger paint. Shaylee had lots of fun and I think she figured out the difference between red, yellow and blue. And she could even say them all. She also liked eating the "paint". Which I knew would happen so it was just pudding with food coloring in it. Sorry the pictures aren't very good they were taken with my phone. But we had a fun time getting messy. Next time I will do it BEFORE her bath.

Higgins Camp Trip

This weekend was the annual Higgins' Camp Trip on the Beaver mountain.

On Thursday Bob, Julee and there family + 1 friend came down, so we loaded up and headed to Jimmy Reed's. Then Friday my parents and Jeremie and Austin came up. We had a pretty good sized camp set up.

On Saturday morning Chase woke up early to go look for bears with the Gale's, they managed to get one tree'd. Back at camp we missed out on the bear ( I guess our radio wasn't working properly cuz I didn't hear a dang thing.)

We had a fun trip, Lot's of fishing ( I caught 1), 4-wheeling, pony rides, and of course yummy famous dutch oven potatoes. (Sorry Austin, you missed out on some good ones!)

4th of July Camp Out

We left thursday afternoon and headed up the Mountain for a camp out. We went up to Jimmy Reed's along with Chase's cousins Jenn and Josey. Of course I didn't break out my camera until the last day! But I managed to get some cute pictures of Shaylee and her extra DIRTY face.

We had alot of fun, and we are loving our new camp trailer so far. We headed home Saturday evening to catch some fireworks, by then Shaylee was out cold for the night... But our neighbors had some good ones that Chase and I watched from our doorstep..
