Cowgirl Snowman!

Shaylee's daddy decided to build her a snowman or should I say snow woman. We watched from the front window all nice and warm while he was out there bulding it in the freezing cold. Then we bundled up to go out and help him with the finishing touches like the cowgirl hat, necklace and nose. Shaylee thought it was the greatest thing. She has a couple snowman books that she loves to read. It has been snowing all day here in Beaver. I think we are ready for some sunshine!

Snow!

Chase took Shaylee outside to play in the snow! She had a blast. I went outside for about 2 seconds to get pictures, I seriously hate being cold and I hate the snow! I guess it was because I was raised in warm, sunny St.George (haha). Anyway, I could tell Shaylee was having a blast because I watched her from my bedroom window and I could just hear her giggling and saying "Fun! Fun!" Shaylee loves her daddy sooo much, as soon as he is off work everyday she is glued to his hip.. He even has to take her to feed the horses everyday because she won't let him leave the house without her.

Our year hasn't started off great. Yesterday we said goodbye to Chase's grandpa Roger. He truely was a wonderful person, who accepted and loved everyone!

Yesterday was such a up and down day. He wasn't doing well in the morning. Then they took out his breathing tube and he woke up and was talking to everyone and doing so well, we all had a little hope in our hearts that maybe he would pull through. Then he took a turn for the worst and wasn't breathing well, so all the family gathered around and they told him it was ok to go. Not long after they said a prayer for him to go, he was gone. We will all miss grandpa Roger and we all will be better people for having known him!

Bye Crib, Hello Big Girl Bed

It's official Shaylee is out of her crib and into a BIG GIRL bed! SAD! She is doing sooo good! She goes to bed around 9 (then she usually come out one time, so we put her straight back to bed) then she sleeps the entire night until about 7:30. She also takes about a 2 hour nap during the day around noon. I was sad to take her crib down, but I love this new bedding that she got for Christmas!

Shaylee is officially 21 months old! Somethings to remember about her:

*She is talking really well.

*She is starting to learn her colors and remember which is which.

*She says names and remembers who is who.

*She is a horrible eater, this girl survives on Milk!

*She has had 2 sets of tubes in her ears.

*She is a daddy's girl, as soon as dad is home from work she is with him the rest of the evening, no matter where he goes!

*She love's her "Mean Grandma"(sometimes better then Mom)

* She love's all animals. Horses, cats, dogs, goats, the lion on the wall and every other animal!

Christmas Day at the Luce's

This year we spent Christmas Day with my side of the Family, We went to Grandma and Grandpa Luce's house! Julee, Scott, Brad and Stephanie and all their families were there! We had a yummy dinner and lots of fun!

Christmas Morning

Santa made a visit to our house! He brought Shaylee a Kitchen with food, and a bounce castle! She was soooo excited when she seen them both! Then not to mention a dozen presents under the tree from us! She was a little slow at opening them, but she loved everything especially all the Dora stuff and new babies! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve with The Gleave's!

On Christmas Eve we headed over to Monroe for the evening. We had a great time, and yummy potatoe soup and bread bowls! Shaylee of course got SPOILED! To many cute things, the little cowgirl PJ's are adorable. Thanks for all the great stuff!
