Happy 4th Birthday!

We decided Shaylee's special day should be filled with fun. So in the morning we headed down to St.George. After we got there, we got some lunch then headed for Jumping Jacks! She was in heaven! She ran, jumped and slid her little heart out for a couple hours. (Rowdy thought it was pretty fun too!)

After Jumping Jacks, Me and Chase took her to see the Lorax in 3D. She thought it was sooo cool to see it in 3D.. Although, she kind of started to get tired of wearing the glasses by the end (LOL).

It was a great day! Happy Birthday to you!

A few things that she can do at the age of 4!

*Knows all her ABC's and the sounds they make.
*Knows all Shapes and Colors
*Counts to 20
*Writes her name
*Colors in the lines
*Starting to learn to read M O M and D A D
*Knows red means stop, Green Go and Yellow Yield
*Knows where we are in the town when driving around and will say "Thats where I go to cheer." Or "There is my School." Or "That's where we go on dates (the timberline)"
*Loves to play with friends, she is a social girl.
- This little girl, has definatly always been a smart one. By age 2 she was speaking in full sentences.. During some long, boring days while dad's at work, we have lots of conversations and she keeps me laughing.
I remember, just a little after her 2nd Birthday, we just sold our first house and was renting one, and I was pregnant with Rowdy and sooo sick. This little girl would rub my back softly (while i was puking) and say "mom, it's ok, your going to be O.K.! It's something, I think I will remember FOREVER! She is such a sweet girl! Happy Birthday Shay.

Birthday Party (#1)

I can't believe this little girl will be 4 tomorrow! I'm a little bit sad about it. She is growing up way to fast!

Anyway, this was her first party (I'm sure she will have a few). Chase's family was nice enough to come over for dinner and cupcakes! This little girl loves to party so she was so excited to have them come. We had a yummy dinner of Ribs, bake potatoes, salad, and rolls :) And of course the Gleave family spoiled her rotten! She got lots of cute new clothes, sandals, a darling braclet, and some learning DVD's and work books.
Tomorrow we will be taking her to St.George to go spend the day doing lots of fun stuff. Then another party that night! Hope she has a great day!

Happy St.Patricks Day

Don't they look cute in there green?.. I didnt do anything to fun for them on this day, just dressed them up.. But I did tell Shaylee that this is the one day we can celebrate uncle Jeremies tattoos (HAHA)..

Lately..

We've been waiting for warm weather! We had a couple nice days last week but then we wake up to snow today :( Even Shaylee is starting to tell me she wishes it was summer time. Shaylee's birthday is next Monday and boy is she excited! I can't believe I will have a 4 year old.. Something about the age 4 just seems so much older then 3 to me.. I'm sad about it. I dont want my babies to grow up!

New Bunny

My friend Austin text me and asked if we wanted a bunny for Shaylee. I knew that Shaylee would love that so I told her yes! It is such a cute bunny and she has had if for 5 years, so it's a old bunny.

They called him Cadbury.. But since Shaylee didn't really get that name she didn't like it haha. So I told her she could name it whatever she wanted... She settled on 'Peanuts'

I'm beginning to feel old... 25 ahh!! My birthday was on 2-22. My husband worked alot that day. All day, then there was a little stand off on the freeway so he had to help shut down the road for about 3 hours that night.. So we spent about a hour together on that day. He felt pretty bad but I told him, It's just another day when your this age. No big deal. But he still spoiled me and gave me a card with some spending money :) and a couple carmel apples, and a cute cake.

Then on thursday we headed for St.George. My parents had lots of presents for me with clothes and fun stuff.. Thanks!!

Then on friday Chase took me out to my birthday dinner. We decided to go to Mesquite for crablegs, and prime rib.. YUM! I put a dollar in the slot machine and won ten dollars, I was so proud of myself that I cashed out and we left LOL.. Big spender let me tell you.

And on Saturday I went and spent my money :) I got a couple ceiling fans (haha, I know), some clothes, sunglasses, lotion from bath and body. My kind of spending spree.. Thanks to my husband. He's the best.

Pet Day

Today was Shaylee's turn to take a pet to school. She has been talking about it for a while now, what pet will she take? Ginger the high strung dog, Belle the old hound, cookie the cat that bites, slingshot the pony, or bootsie the goat??? The choice was soooo hard to decide.. But in the end I just took GINGER.. Don't know if it was the best choice because as you can see by the pictures, she is so high strung, she didn't know what to think of all the kids. She was as excited as Shaylee was to have a her there.
