Rooster!

This picture was taken AFTER I got Shaylee settled down from being ATTACKED by that ROOSTER!!

We got down to the horse's tonight and the rooster was on our side of the fence. Well Shaylee thought it was pretty cool that it would "cockadiddledoo".. .. I was trying to keep her as far away from it as I could (she was like 6 feet away from it) and I turned by back to walk the hay to the horses. Next thing I know my mom is screaming and Shaylee is on the ground crying with the rooster pecking her back. My mom said as soon as I turned my back it ran as fast as it could to attack her. SAD. But she got over it fast and said bye and blew it a kiss when we left!

Labor Day Camping Trip

We had a awesome weekend camping up North Creek. We're a little sad that this is probably our last camping trip of the year, and that summer is coming to an end.

Our friends Eddie and Patty and there kids came up and went with us. Also Robbie and Collette and Shaylee's little friend Jex. We did alot of bear hunting (with no luck). Made some yummy food, and had a great time.

Next week Chase is going on a Moose hunt with Russell and he is really excited for that. We are definatly not ready for snow yet, but we know it's right around the corner.

FaLl BeAr HuNt 2009

Saturday was the start of the fall bear hunt. We got up really early at 5:00 A.M. and met up with everyone at Ernie's. We drove around for about a hour looking for tracks. Eventually we let the dogs out after Russell's dogs rigged it. The chase was surprisingly fast! The bear wasn't to far from where trucks were parked and there was a trail right to it. We had Shaylee with us all day. She did really well and never fussed once it was a long day for her we got home at 2:00 P.M. She slept for a couple hours, she was definatly worn out. ( I forgot my camera, so these pics are from Colt and Alli. I wish I had it to get some pics of Shaylee.)

Monroe

On Thursday Kelly and Markell came over to Beaver for the day to play with Shaylee. Then we decided to let her go home with them that night and have a sleep over.. It was nice for us to have a date night. We went to see "The Proposal" It was really funny. Then on friday, after cleaning the bank Chase and I headed to Monroe. I missed my little one, so I was sooo excited to see her. Today was Jenn's baby shower, so I left Shaylee with Chase. And of course whats he going to do with her? Let her ride Appy. She loved it. He said she threw a fit when he made her get off!

Cabela's

What's a trip up north without stopping at Cabela's?? Shaylee loved all the animals and fish.. We spent about a hour there just looking at all the fun stuff. I told Chase to leave his wallet in the car, cuz he wasn't getting anything. Haha.

Our trip up north was really fun, although about 6 of us ended up sick. (including my dad and me.) That kind of made it a long trip home. But it's good to be home. I went to bed really early lastnight and I am starting to feel better today.

Riverton with Family

Our cousins from Arkansas made a trip to Utah, so we rode up to stay at my aunt and uncle's house in Riverton to visit with everyone. We had a yummy BBQ. Steak, dutchoven potatoes, corn on the cob, and the best part Julee's SALAD!! Oh and to top it off homeade butterfinger icecream. It's been good seeing cousins that I never see!

My brother's girlfriend Austin is getting into photography, so I had her take some "July" pictures of Shaylee. They turned out really cute. I love how clear her camera is. I'm going to blow up a couple of them for her scrapbook! Thanks Austin they turned out cute.
