Potty Training

Today when Shaylee woke up, I decided we were going to try and start potty training! I've just been putting it off for soooo long. Luckily she seems to be catching on well. She pee'd first thing, and got a treat. About a hour later she told me she had to pee again, so I put her on the potty. She told me she was done, I looked in the toilet and was shocked to see she had pooped!! That I was not expecting her to do! But I'm glad! So far today we are at 2 times on the potty, 0 accidents! I guess when she wakes up from her nap will see where it goes from there, hopefully she is still excited about it! It would be nice not to buy diapers anymore :)

Happy Anniversary!

Tomorrow is the BIG 5 year anniversary for us! I can't believe how fast time flies by.. It seems like yesterday that we were getting married. And now 5 years later, we have had so many great memories together.... I still remember going to Monroe on the weekends with Jaclyn! I was just 15, but I knew I loved him then.

5 things I love about Chase:

1. He's the best daddy to Shaylee (she absolutely LOVES her daddy)
2. He treats me sooo good. I couldn't ask for anything better!
3. He is such a hardworker, we never go without because if we are struggling then he picks up a 2nd and sometimes a 3rd job just to make ends meet and let me be a stay at home mom.
4. He makes me laugh. Haha sometimes we do the dumbest things together!
5. He tells me I'm beautiful everyday, even on the days when I'm not feeling or looking good at all!

Anyway, we aren't doing anything too exciting tomorrow, maybe go out to dinner. The cruise we went on in April was our celebration for 5 years together!

Don't Worry, I Went to Hairschool!

That's what I told this poor little dog before I completely BUTCHED his hair! Haha. I just kept cutting and cutting until he officially got his summer haircut. Let me tell you a dog's hair is nothing like a humans hair. But he must like it because he was running around acting spunky, So I said to Chase "see he likes his hair" and he said to me " he likes it until he looks in the mirror then he will be horrified!" LOL. Oh well he's just a dog and short hair will be nice in this hot weather.

Summer is Finally Here

Yesterday we played in the pool, I even got in with her haha.

Today we rode the 4 wheeler up to a little river by our house, Shaylee loved playing in the water.

Then we took a nice ride up the mountain to the lakes, Shaylee kept looking for "Beavers" haha she kept saying it over and over again. Oh she is too fun!

New View

Well we are offically moved out of our house, and renting a house. Shaylee tells me all the time that she "loves the new house." Lastnight I rode past our old house and it made me a little sad. We had many great memories in that house.

The pictures is the view from our front doorstep (thats right NO neighbors for miles), I love sitting outside in the evenings. The deer come and eat in the pasture across the road. We don't know what's next for us, so we will probably be renting this little house for a while until we decide what we are going to do. We are just glad the move is OVER! It's a lot of hard work.

*I have been slacking on the blog lately... So I decided to do a little update. The month of May has flown by! These pictures were on Mother's Day, that weekend my cousin got married up north so we got home late saturday night.. So I told Chase for Mother's Day I just want a relaxing day, and that's what I got. He cooked us a big meal, and cleaned the house.. It was a great day!

* Happy Birthday to my Mom her b-day was on May 16th.

*We've been loving the warm days (we need more tho) Me and Shay sit outside all afternoon and play.. It's sooooo nice!

*And last but not least we are signing the papers today, our house is officially SOLD (I hope this doesn't jinx us haha)We are happy and sad! It's been a great house and we've done alot of work to it, and bringing baby Shaylee home to it.. I guess I would be lying if I said I wasn't sad to sell it. People keep asking us where we are going? and what we are doing? and right now we have no idea... so for now we are just renting a house in Beaver until we really decide what we're going to do. We have 10 days from today to get out!

Our 5 year anniversary is coming up in June, so we decided to celebrate by going on a cruise! It was alot of fun, we have never been.. We both got a little sea sick. Me the first night and Chase the last night. Anyway we went to Catalina Island, where we did a bus and submarine tour. They were both really fun. Then in Ensenada we did a jeep tour, which was really pretty cool. I was a little nervous in Mexico since all the drug wars and what not, but we survived haha ;) After the cruise we went to Sea World. Neither of us have ever been. I was really impressed with the whales and sea lions. I can't believe they can train them to do some of the things they do. Anyway it was a great trip, we are glad to be home to Shaybug we both missed her a ton. We went with our friends the Kinross's and I'm sure they were sick of hearing us say how much we missed Shaylee.
